what kinda real plants can you add to a 55 gal tank with misc african cichlids, seems everything i get they tear up! only the top quality plastic plants seem to last
Any of the Anubias family would be ok in a Cichlid tank. I keep 3 different kinds in my Tanganyikan tank and they leave them alone. Also the Anubias will stand up to the higher pH levels of a rift lake tank. Also you might try out Java Ferns.
