Hello all!! I'm quite surprised. I looked into my tank and I found on my "safe side" (for my fry, just in case) a strange looking fry. I found 4 more, totaling 5. I have 3 dark color fry and 2 light colored fry. They're bellies are orange, maybe some of the egg sack left?? They don't move much, which makes me think that they are newborns. I've seen newborn Platy and Guppy Fry before, but never any like these. Their upper bodies and head are broad, like a Platy, but their tails are long and lean, like a Guppy. I have 3 Virgin female Platies and 1 (used to be 2 a week ago) male Guppies. My White Wag Platy looked pregnant and I've seen my male Guppy (that I got rid of) successfully breed with her, but this was about 4 months after I got rid of my male Platy, her father, and they never met face to face (no inbreeding). I've included some pictures, so take a look. I'm excited!!
