Hello, I am caring for my father's fish while he is away so I do not know much about aquariums, but I do adore the two blood parrot fish he has. It is a 100 gallon freshwater aquarium and the fish are at least 7 years old. One of the Parrots has developed two strange large bumps on his/her head (like horns) and is in distress (bright orange color fading and eyes red), but is eating. He or she seems to also be spending a lot of time at the surface of the tank in the corner but the bumps are growing in size every day. I'm worried this fish will die, and my local pet store has no idea what it is but told me to try Kanaplex. Can anyone help or identify this?
