Please help - red worms! Urgent

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all okay, I haven't been on for a while.

So this morning I found one of my guppy fry dead and a disgusting thin red worm wriggling around it's body. Also, some of the fry have this red worm popping out thier anu.s

I understand this is a parasite but I don't understand, I keep my water parametres to the right level (Always 0 nitrite, 0 ammonia and 15ppm nitrate) and always look after my fish. I'm so upset because I really don't want to lose these fry, I have had them since birth and they are beautiful.

Have I lost them completely or is there anything I can do? I'm absolutely devastated.

Hi Cammie:
I'm guessing that it is Callamanus worms. Sorry, I don't know much about this parasite or why your tank was infected.

Just found out that the Levinsole stuff (in the article) is very hard to get your hands on! I'm trying another medication...lets hope it works!
