my betta blueberry was always very active and made lots of bubble nests. in the last few weeks he has gotten sluggish and stopped eating, now i think his fin is rotting and i see discoloration around his gills (grey with some red). i am treating with maracyn. he is in a smallish tank (2 gallons) but he has a mini heater and i think the temp is good. he has always been very happy and i have had him for well over a year.
please help me figure out what is going on, i care for him very much and will be very sad if anything happens to him. i hate to think he is suffering. please help us as i am only a novice fish owner! *SICK*
