I asked this question in the equiptment section, but no one answered it, but I really need sum people's opinions! I have a two gallon hex with two dwarf aquatic frogs. Would a sponge filter or a UGF be better? thanks for ANY help!! :-/

I prefer the sponge because you can clean it, as where gravel has to vacuumed, which is a little tight for a two gallon. Also sponge is tranferable to another tank if so needed as where UGF is stouck in tank. Also, if you use a sponge, make sure to clean it in room temp, declorinated water to preserve bacterial colony in sponge.  *twirlysmiley*

yeah my 2 gallon came with a UGF and its a REAL pain to clean :p. But i wasn't sure wether a sponge would be more efficient to filter. When I clean my aquarium, its too small to vaccum, so i have to take apart the filter, and trust me..its not pretty ;). So I'll have to find a good sponge filter, any suggestions? And how would I disconnect my UGF??¿¿
