I saw this really cool pleco that was only 1 inch big. I looked all over planet catfish and couldn't find it. First of all, it's body was all bright yellow with very bright orange spots. I don't know what kind it is and I looked every where. If any of you pleco specialists have seen this pleco or have pics of it could you reply with them because I want to know the info on it like the size it gets and all that. I really liked it because it stood out with its color*SUNSMILE*

As I suspected no exact match for what you are describing. Could your memory be distorted a bit. I know I have been guilty of seeing something new and cool at the LFS and remembering it looking somewhat dif that what it actually looks like. My point is, excitement can play tricks on your mind. Go back to the LFS and get another look at it.

Identification by the description you give is going to be next to impossible. 1 There isn't a "known" species with a bright yellow body and orange spots. There are many that do have yellow highlights like the gold nuggets. 2 Most plecs can change color to some degree depending on mood/health.

Try to get me a better description and I'll see what I can do, but a pic would be best.
