well i have had my pleco for about a month now idk if hes scared of the light or what but ill turn on the tank light and when its towards the later afternoon and sometimes during the day he will take off so fast and hide under the skull and like just not its 10pm and i turned on my bedroom lamp and walked over to the tank and he was out with his fins all open and stuff and was eating but just about the time i turned on the lamp he bolted right for the skull again. the skull i guess has like shade or something in it...how do i make it were he is alright with the light being on?!?

Plecos (and most catfish, really) are nocturnal. I never see either of my plecos (the BN in the 55gal or the clown in the 20gL) out during the day, but at night, especially if I turn the tank lights off first, they come out to play and eat. Same thing goes for my cories, otos and SA bumblebee catfish. They're all nocturnal. I highly doubt you'll be able to make him alright with the light being on.
