I have a 37 gallon community tank at home. I have six bottom dwellers, two cories, two golden nuggets, and two of something I'm not sure what they are but they are cool (they are sort of ivory looking and their scales look like netting or like a veil). Could I add two more plecos? If so, what are some really cool ones - my golden nuggets are gorgeous.

Bottom feeders (more specifically plecos) are notorious for not getting along with other plecos. If you were to add anything I would add some more cories as they are a schooling fish and like to be in groups.

Also...I dont want to say you can add more of anything, because without knowing what other fish are in the tank we can't really tell if there's more room in the tank for more fish, if the filter can keep up with more fish waste or not.

Thanks for the advice. I do love my cories - they never leave each other's side - I love watching them schimmy up and down the glass. I'll try to find a pic of my mystery pleco tonight. The other fish I have are 4 marbled gouramis, 2 baby angels, 4 red platys and 8 newborns (which I'm giving to my aquarium store), 4 harlequins, 4 fancy guppies and two very cool fish that I do not know the name (the female's tummy turns a vibrant blue when she is with the male).

Oh dear. I have a professional that takes care of my tank. He said I should not get anymore plecos but I should add a few more cories and a few ottocats. Once the babies have grown more, they will be going to the dealer. I have two more fish in my tank that are pregnant, too.
