Plecostomus Question

I am setting up a female betta community tank in a 10 gallon aquarium. I am thinking about adding a pleco to the picture. I know I can fit 7-8 females in a 10 gallon, but if I add in a pleco, how many female bettas can I still have? Feel free to email me.

Let me explain myself a little better. No I am not clueless to the size of these fish, and our pet stores will allow you to trade them in for smaller ones when they get to big. Should I just stick to Cory cats?

i wouldnt get a pleco they dont do that great a job on algae, get a pair of ottos, and id only get like 6 bettas though
