What does long stringy poop mean. Why red velvet sword (female) had this long stringy poop. Just wondering is that okay? I had to ask, sorry its about poo!!

Oh that so got my attention.

It could be a couple of things including diet. But normally that points to internal parasites. A round of meds or medicated food should clear it up.

i have long stringy poo in my tank but it comes from my pleco which from my childhoodi remember he was a messy guy. SO is it for all fish stringy poo means internal parasite? or whut?

What type of medicated foods should you feed to treat this symptom? I have some medicated food that treats internal and external bacterial parasites.
