Man, one of these new marble angels in my tank has had a rough start to living here. First he has ich, and infected my loaches. He was not eating, etc. Got that turned around and he's looking ok, eating, on the mend. Last night when I got home... no angel. Where'd he go? On a whim, I checked the intake for my pump... there he is, plastered against the screen. I figured he was dead, so I got out the net to scoop him, then opened the cabinet and turned off the pump. I climbed back up on the step stool and looked around for the floating body... no body. Huh? I look around and there he is, in his favorite corner, hanging out, looking a bit shell-shocked, but alive! I couldn't believe it. I threw a little more food in the tank (he missed out on the blood worms, oh well) and he went for it. Amazing.
Unfortunately, no sign of my smallest golden angel. No idea where she is. I didn't think they could fit between the slots on the intake screen, but maybe she did. :-(
I've lowered the water level so it can't happen again. Poor fishies!
