and any body have any suggestions for any fish to add to my tank? (keeping in mind that i'm planning to get 1 or 2 baby oscars when the parrot passes away)

20 gallon is way too small for oscars...if your planning to get a bigger tank for them keep in mind they grow fast

either way i wouldnt add anything to your tank right now...your parrot can grow to 8" or more and assuming you got a healthy one and that you will provide proper care for it, it can live for up to 10 years

I second liz. You don't have room for your parrot cichild when it is grown let alone 2 oscars which will eventually need atleast a 100g tank for both.
