I am looking for a good PC fixture for my 20L (30 inch long) tank. There are freshwater aqualights that have 2 65 watt bulbs, BUT, the bulbs seem much much shorter than the fixture, about 24 inches or so. My friend has a 30 inch long fixture, and his two bulbs are "staggered"..... one comes from one end and the other screws in the other end, this way, there isn't a large gap on one side since the bulbs are shorer than the fixture. However I can't find any fixtures like that. The picture show that the bulbs are on one end, causing what looks like a large gap on the other end of the fixture. I would prefer the staggered style if I could find them....does anyone even know what I'm talking about?

thanks! I just got that one! btw, I am using 2 bags of ecocomplete substrate, an aquaclear 100gph, and going to fiddle around and invent some crazy new CO2 dispersion setup! i Cant wait to get going. I really want to stock with jewel cichlids, they dont dig very much do they? I dont necessarily want a breeding pair...And I am going to try the potted plant idea see how well they grow in clay pots.

i dont suggest jewels unless you are commited to having everything torn up and alot of agression towards each other and i dont think im ever going to own them again unless i have a HUGE tank for them. the do dig and they dig alot. IMO i will never suggest these fish to anyone unless they are truly commited to highly agressive fish, and know how to take care of them.
