Hi guys.. how long does a power head usually last? Can they be kept ON 24*7 or do they need to be turned off everyday? i usually turn my powerhead off at feeding time.. just for about 2 mins .. Can anyone share tips on maximising the life of a powerhead?

Actually the way to really maximise life is to never turn them off. Also cleaning them, including soaking them in vinegar every 3 or months helps quite a lot.
Lifespan is really variable between the different brands tho'
