Powerhead suggestions

55gal, HOB filter on one side, other side is almost stagnant. I need a powerhead/pump on the other side.

Any suggestions on powerheads/pump combos for the other side? Nothing like whitewater power just something to keep flow going.

Buy a Power head that is designed for a smaller tank. You will still get the movement but not the white water. You can also just add a small HOB filter to the other side of the tank. It will give you more filtration and add water movement.

Just like maha said, get a small powerhead or another filter.
For my 30 gallon, I finally decided on an AC50 and a Penguin 200, rather than one big filter,to get the filtration on both sides. Also, the flow rate is the same and the intake tubes are on the opposite sides of both of them, giving me the flow I want.

ya, just get a medium strength AC or Maxi-Jet.

MaxiJet 600's are a good PH. I have 2 in my 75G. All you'd need is 1 on the end that's stagnant. It's not overbearing, and gives good even flow.

If your feeling handy you could make yourself some UGJ's for the tank. It doesn't take much to make, and quite usefull. Not the easy solution by any means though.
