I'm jumping in and getting my SW feet wet. I'm going to buy Jessica's (Fish Geek) 60 tank. I don't have it quite yet but I'm getting the things I need for it. May end up being on the slow side just because I don't have anything for the SW tank...

OK here is my question. I read the sticky regarding water flow and have read other things that say wave movement is the best movement. There are lots of things out there that clame to create waves but I don't really know what is better than others. Could you check these things out and let me know if any of these would be worth the money and or what else I would need to get/know with them.

sry i dont have any experiance with a wavemaker but IMO since you dont have everything u need to get started id focus more on the stuff that is necessary to start up a sw tank...you can always add a wave maker down the road once the tank is setup

In a 60 I would just invest in either 2-3 tunze or seios if your wallet can stand it, I wouldn't worry about the whole wave maker thing, you just want alot of random, turbulent water movement.

Ok so that is my other question then. A wave maker wasn't a nacessity on my list I was just thinking it's the best for water flow but maybe not. I can take a few jets and put them on both sides, for instance 2 on one side and 2 on the otherside of the tank and make good water flow? Or should all the jets be on one side just pointed in different directions. I'm just trying to get a good mental picture of this so that when we do set up I have some idea of what I'm doing.
