ok as ive said before i want to breed bristlenose.ive gathered lots of info and want to share it hoping others will comment about things i could do differently or start doing....heres what i know
.they can spawn at 4cm
.they eat fresh steamed vegtables
.cave is vital to spawn
.small entrance to cave and large inside works well
.you dont need to see the eggs even though most feel its important
.if your cave is made of plaster it will disinegrate
.once eggs are layed it takes 5-6 days to hatch
.5-6 more days for them to eat there egg sacs
.they are free swimming at 1cm
.and can take 3-5 months to reack 4cm for babies
.bristlenose cats need some sort of diftwood to chew on
.temp 26c
.gh 100ppm
.kh 70 ppm
.ph 7.0
.put babies on adult diet and a little more than that
(algae wafers boiled zuchinni etc)
.babies should be removed from parents
.no substrate (prefered by most?)
.no filter with babies in tank except powerhead
