Pregant Mollies

I have one female potbelly molly that is going to have babies. I got her this month. I want to know how soon she will have them and how do I take care of her and the babies. I don't want the other fish to eat them. I have seen a movie where one is giving birth in a bowl but there is no air filters. Is that possible. Thank u

The best way to save the fry is provide them with lots of hiding places. Floating plants (real or fake) and rocks/gravel piled in places helps create small areas they can escape to. Clean water is also very important.

What other fish (type and number) do you have in the tank? What sized tank is it? Has it completed the nitrogen cycle?

Thank u. Besides the pregant molly i have four others (two females and two males). Two african drawf frogs and one snail. I have a 29 gallon tank and yes it has completed the nitrogen cycle.
