Pregnant Fish?

I've done a lot with fish in the past. I have a big 200 gallon tank, and I kept African Cichlids. Now, I switched to tropical fish, and want to try breeding. I have 11 babies right now. I found these just swimming around, but I want to keep more alive.

I have what i think is a pregnant platy in a breeding box and I need to know if she is really pregnant.

Welcome to the forum! You give very little info for any of us to go on. What other fish are in the 200 gallon tank? I have never used a breeding box and from what I have heard from others this isn't really needed and can stress the female to the point where she aborts. I would think in a 200g tank there would be plenty of hiding places and you would always have some of the fry survive.

Just have plenty of hiding places. One thing I use if artificial grass type mats. The mats come in various types and sizes. Java moss also is helpful.
