Just feeding live foods isn't going to make them breed, but it is a start in the right direction. They don't technicly get pregnant though. The female produces eggs and lays them in the tank, and the male fertilizes them.

They may look a little swollen in the area around the vent, but some may not show many signs if any at all. They aren't like livebearers and plump up really big.

Probably the best way to tell if they are going to breed, or are even interested in breeding is by watching their actions and how they behave tword each other.
