I have been studying DIY Co2.
The work involved seems quite intensive.
I say this because my tank is in my work office.
Being there I just don't have the same time and facilities for 'normal' tank upkeep.
Now I am considering a very simple pressurized system.
Here is what I'm thinking.

(1) 20oz Paintball Co2 Cylinder
(2) Regulator
(3) Hose
(4) Reactor

After preliminarily looking into the cost of the cylinder ($25+-), I think it would be relatively inexpensive.
There has got to be a way to create a pressurized system without spending over $100??
Thnx for suggestions, warnings, leads on equipment and other assistance.

I know Red Sea now makes a CO2 regulator and a CO2 system for paintball canisters. The regulator on its own is $99, I believe: Co2 Pressure Regulator for Paintball (Red Sea)

There is also a whole setup (without the canister for $140), there's a link on the same page.

From what I have read previously, getting a regulator for a paintball system would be more expensive than on a regular system, due to the size of fittings, etc.

DIY really isnt that extensive. you could just bring a strip of yeast packets and a couple cups of sugar in a plastic sandwich bag to work each monday. through my own experiments i set up a DIY co2 system all on my own without knowing it. IMO it is cheaper, and very easy. you could keep a milk jug/2 liter under your desk with an airline hose to your tank.
