Hello,
I was shopping for a new heater for my tank I am in the process of building and baotchi sent me this link .It looks like a seriously cool heater since it has a digital thermometer attached to it as well and the controls are on a remote of sorts so it will work perfect for me to hide in my tank behind the fake rock wall i am making.
I am curious of anyone has had any experience with this model and if its a good brand/bad brand or whatever.
Plus its just cool so if it is a good brand I thought it would be nice to share with everyone as Baotchi did with me.. :D

ive never used that brand, but i do use the titatum heaters...i doubt i will ever buy glass again. i think the detached controls are handy, not to mention the titatnium ones are not nearly as fragile. for the extra ten bucks its worth it imo...course if you asked me that pre-SW i probably wouldn't have said so, you gain a new perspective on ten dollars...in FW that seems like a lot, in SW its virtually nothing

I have that exact heater. I love it. Its pretty accurate and still working for over a year. In fact, I have mine inserted into a Pentair Aquatics heater module.

The only problem that I have had was that I melted the first heater module when my pump lost prime, and since the temp. sensor was in the tank, well you know the rest... Since than I have modified a new heatmodule with the temp sensor inside of it. I have tested this new setup by shutting off the pump and letting the system run dry..... Works for me and nolonger have to worry about module melt-down! :)

So just be careful on where you place the temp. sensor for this... Other than that you will be very satisfied.
