Mostly through connections I've made offa aquabid, plecofanatics, and planetcatfish. Just kinda happens that way when you get this "into" a particulate species.

Thanks! We have been looking for a group of these for about a yr now. Finally a guy I know got in a big shipment of them and to best of my knowledge he is the only one to have them in a very very long time. :D

I never know any good catfish suppliers... :mad: But then again, I don't have the time to hunt them down either! But cool species, love to have one of them myself, along with a zebra plec too!

The jury is still out for sure Lotus not much info on the net for them. Don't know of anyone with adults. Aqualog and DATZ both lists them at 13cm. The ones I'm getting are 2-2.5 inches. We should know for sure if 13cm is right in about a yr or so.

I do know they come from the same river and tributaries that Altums are found in..So looks like RO for these guys also. Ugh I'm gonna need a bigger unit.

Cool... I was just wondering becuase of the "mega" name. :) Let us know how they're doing.

We just got some L052 (possibly L168). So far, they don't look like they enjoyed the 20 minute trip from the LFS, but we'll see how they are in the morning.

Congrats on the new fish :D

Congrats to you too. I love the butterflies. Awesome fish! I've often thought about getting some.

PM me if you ever want a source for more. A friend of mine used to have a breeding colony. Don't know if she still messes with them but I could certainly check for you.

Well they came in today. Only lost one due to his bag getting punctured. He only has one left but is sending it as a replacement. Since shipping isn't covered with the arrive alive guarantee (this is normal) I went ahead and ordered another plec. LOL I wish!! Toam that plec they are talking about is the prized blue eye. Them things sell for around 700 each on AB and are one of the most rare and sought after pleco in the world.

The 15 euros that the guy paid for his was a one in a life time fluke.

Emm pics are posted, granted they are crap. But it's the best I can get with the borrowed digi cam from my mother. The lil Mrs lost our cam 3 months ago. Tell me how does one loose a 500 dollar camera? In ones own apartment non the less. GRRRRRRR!!!
