Ok I have this guppy. When I bought her, I got a male too, in the hopes they'd find love and you know ... I'd get some babies.
Well the male may have done his thing. Either way, he died. He was a crappy fry that probably should have gotten culled before the batch went to the LFS. Anway... But I'm too impatient to wait. I don't think she's preggers, so today I bought a new male.
She hates him, and I think will kill him eventually. She chases, nips and hounds him constantly.
I always thought guppies were super-nonviolent. Anyone know what's up with this? Could it be she is preggers, and is "protecting" her future brood from an outsider male?
