you can order them online, although i have never bought fish online before so im not sure how well they do, mostly because the guys at my lfs are cool and can order me whatever i want. they are not very popular fish and information varies so lots of times you might hear a certain speices is brackish and can only grow too 2 inchs and others will say its freshwater and can get up too 5 inchs. they also need too be fed snails and invertabrates somewhat regularly to keep there teeth worn down because there teeth grow throughout there lives much like rabbits and can grow too be so long they cant open there mouths and they will starve. they are also not very tolorant too cycling tanks so have the tank fully cycled before you put them in. they are also terrible tank mates and can be anything from nippers too killers, most cannot even tolorate there own spieces. they are also almost always wild caught and many have parasites from nature so it is good too treat them for it. they are also very messy eaters so it is important too clean your tank often. amazon puffers and dwarf puffers are the only common all freshwater puffers. it is also very bad for them too puff up because they only do that as a last resort when they are threatend and it stresses them greatly. if you are going to move them it is good too keep them in water at all times because if they get stressed and puff up out of water they will take in air and usually cannot expel it which can cause them too die. and if you buy one it is a good percaution too take somthing too put him in because if they want they can easily chew a hole in fish bags. all in all they are great fish and lots of fun too watch though here is a good link for more information http://puffernet.tripod.com
