common name kribensis, they are riverine cichlids and like water quality similar to the amazon, soft with a low ph, looks like an albino, they get 3-4" and should be kept in male female pairs, but when they breed they become very agressive

I love kribs! They are pretty hardy, breed easily, and are peaceful when not breeding. That pictured is an albino variety. Regular ones are more red and green. They need atleast a 15 gallon tank but you may be able to get away with having a pair in a 10 gallon.

You say they get very aggresive when breeding, how aggresive do they get and would they do fine in a community 45g?

Well right now i dont plan to get these fish. Im just researching for future use. Im starting to redo my 45g so im going to get rid of most of the fish hopefully and restock w/ angels, blue rams, albino kribs, pleco, corys.
