I bought a Mag 7 to connect to my skimmer, and the manu is claiming it pumps 700gph. How accurate are these pump ratings? I could probably run the pump in bucket an measuring, but I would like your opinion on the Mag ratings.
Generally, they are pretty accurate at sea level without any head. The Mag7 is a very good pump and it should get you right around there. What kind of skimmer is it for?
