Purple Urchins with LR reef

Does anyone keep urchins in their reef tank? I have 2 urchins in my tank that was a fish only tank, but I am trying to build it into a reef tank. I notice that the urchins love to eat the coraline alge off of the live rock. I only have about 10lbs of LR in their now, and 60+lbs of regular rock, which I am slowly swapping out for new live rock.

Should I take them out of the tank, or just let it ride?

The only problem with urchins is just that, they eat the coraline. They also can knock stuff over such as coral frags etc but otherwise they are not bad. I have a green one that I keep in my fuge as he was being a pest in my small tank, knocking stuff over all the time.
