Hiyas just got the python recently....my only concern is, what if the temperature of the water from your faucet is too hot ? What can be done....i checked mine and it was around 89 degrees.
yeah, back off on the hot, and add cold to it, also it says only to use cold water when using it (other then when filling you tank with "tank temp" water)
I'm pretty sure he meant the cold tap water is this hot. This is very possible if you have a well and your piping is exposed to this blasted summer heat. In that case not much you can do except refill the tank slowly to allow the fish time to adjust.
Pure is correct....i had thought about putting ice in the sink when filling around the tube....may possibly cool it a degree or two. Or i may try a diff faucet. /shrug just dont wanna kill the fish heh.
