I want one but I'm afraid it won't fit on my faucet. I don't really understand how it would work. Is it very adjustable to different kinds of faucets? I don't see how it would connect to my bathroom faucet.
I wish I could have opened the packaging at the store and inspected it better!

Oh and I'm also worried about the suction being too strong. I'm used navigating around little ghost shrimp and I have sand in my 30 gallon which I'm afraid it would get too. (I finally figured how to not slurp it up with my gravel cleaner!)

The python comes with a faucet addapter. Look closley at this, as it will probably fit what ever faucet you have. When I first got mine, I didnt know the part of the adapter came apart to fit even more types, and just by looking at it, it wouldnt work. So after having it about a month and never using it, I asked at the LFS if she had any other adapters for it and she gave me the brass adapter and showed me how it worked. So I went home and looked at the plastic one it came with and low and behold it did fit! LOL So yes, it is very adjustable to fit I would say any type of faucet. Even if it dosent fit, the store probably would take it back, just check before you buy.

The suction strengh depends on how high you have the water pressure. I cleaned my 10 gallon just last night and a ghost shrimp started to be pulled into it, but it wasnt quick or very stong, so I just turned the water off for a minute and let him swim back out. Just keep an eye out to make sure if you start to get one.

They come with faucet adaptors. Don't attach it too tightly as the main spigot will crack (they've accounted for this as the part is commonly replaceable). And, they will suck up fish and anything else if you're not careful. I accidentally sucked up a frog with one ... poor, little dude didn't have a chance. A gravel straining attachment would be cool, but I haven't found one yet.

I made my Own python for 1/3 the cost and works just as well.

And the adapters the waterbed fill and drain kit come with fit every tap in my house but my bathtub.

Make sure you take the instructions with you to the hardware store, cuz a soon as you mention aquarium, they all don't want to help.

I've had my Python for over a year and it doesn't spray any more. Go to your harware store and get some plumbing teflon tape. Wrap it around the threads of all you connections, then tighten everything down. Stops virtually all leaks.

Also when you take off the aerater on your faucet, make sure the rubber gasket gets removed too. First time I used mine I flooded the bathroom.
