i have a filstar xp3, with the spraybar setup...about every 10 seconds or so the spraybar squirts out a large bunch of bubbles that is audible from across the room. and in the meantime, it squirts out a bunch of small bubbles in the water that make my water look like it has specks in it (even though up close you can see that they are tiny bubbles)...does anyone know what might be causing this?

i shook it for a while, it made more bubbles come out temporarily, but didnt fix it...so i left it unplugged for like 10 minutes (the package only says 2) and that finally got it...now ive noticed that leaving it off for only 2 doesnt cut it for me, dunno why...but 10 minutes fixes it all up, after i restart it each time for maintenence. thanks all.

Sounds to me like you left your media to dry out some while cleaning or you put dry filter wool into the filter without wetting it first. I get the same kind of thing with my Fluval 104 for the first few minutes after I switch it on. It doesn't take long for the air to work its way out given a little shake or two.
