Hi

I'm currently running a 29g FWOLR tank with two clowns and a coral beauty. I have a 20W marine glow bulb which is sufficient for what I have going right now, but I'd like to get some fleshy corals in within a few months. I know I would need a new hood in order to get a halide bulb for my tank so I was looking around to see what my options are. I found this

I just wanted some opinions on this product; if anyone out there has used/seen it before. Do you think this would be sufficient for my tank? Another alternative would be to use VHO flourecent lighting, yea?

Also, in the product description, it says to use with a glass canopy. Is there a reason why I can't use an acrylic canopy? just wondering.

thanks for you help

That would be good, if you think overheating might be an issue for you PC or T5 fluor would be other good options . VHO is not a great option really, functional, but bottom of the pile i.m.o.
