Under Gravel Jet's. I find that it's a very neat concept, and when setup properly it can help keep a tank cleaner. It does however require some good planing to get it setup right the first time, because once the tank is decorated it can be a pain to change.

When I have the room again for 2 300 gallons. I definitely know for a fact I will have one as a Discus tank for show and the other one Lake malawi species. Since I have kept them both in the past for several years in very well establish tanks with no problems. When u have 3 children in a row you tend to have to give up your tanks and maintenance switch over to the children. I would definitely use the UGJ on the tanks, like I was stating earlier I set my tanks up for long term and not constantly rearranging things in the tank because I am bored of the looks or constantly looking for fish to stock once I have what I want in the tanks ( meaning you have to consider the size the fish grows when they reach maturity). I would also do the 3-d background on the tanks

I believe some of our members have UGJ systems...just cant bring to mind which ones right this second. Check out the DIY and the equipment forums because I think they were talking about them in there. Who's got the battlefield theme...it might have been them???

UGJ's are great! Its a great way to keep debris from settling in the tank and to rid a tank of dead spots. I have one setup in my 29 gal tank and i get very little waste when gravel syphoning.

I agree that it is somthing that you should plan ahead for before filling up and starting a tank. You need to know how you want the outputs to flow in the tank, how many outputs, size of the powerhead to get desired flow through each of the output jets. Its also a good idea have time to epoxy substrate to the outputs so that you don't have to look at the ugly white piping.

can't even tell its there. :D
