Question on Tank Size

I just got an reply from my add on craigslist offering me a free fish tank, hood, filter ext.

Size of the tank is listed at

30" x 12-1/2" x 19"

Any ideas on how big gallon wise this tank would be?

I would say either 29 or 30 gallons.

Gerald is almost spot on.US gallon is 231 cubic inch so 30.844 gallon by the sizes you gave.Take a little off for glass thickness and water gap.

Same size as my current tank which is a 29g.
