I gota brand new 40 gallon tank and i want to put my two nice jack dempseys in it. They have laid eggs before just in the pebbles but they have been eaten by the other fish so thats why im moving then to their own...i just need some tips on how i should go about breeding them, any ideas???

how big was the other tank they were in? i think they need a 45 gal for one JD but i could be wrong if their a breeding pair. if they have mated before just set up the new tank similar to the last one.

Yeah, if they're spawning now just stick to the same formula. Think about putting in some big bits of slate, maybe some big flowerpots
