quick question......

hi, i was wondering are their any peaceful scavengers(that do a good job cleaning up the bottom of the tank of excess food and other stuff) that are peaceful and won't harm/eat any other fish? And can be put in a community tank.

I know that cories and snails do a great job IME, but I was wondering if their was anything else?

Shrimp are pretty good too. I have a dojo/weather loach that's very friendly and keeps things pretty clean.

Of course, there's no substitute for cleaning the tank yourself

I would suggest corrys, but I see you already put them down.

Kuhli loaches do a good job, but you would rarely see them.

I dont know if clwon loaches clean up the bottom or not, but if they do, I would recommend them.

I would suggest the dojo loach, mine is always digging at the bottom trying to get at food, hes like a freakin vacume cleaner!

most loaches are good scavengers, also my red tailed black shark is a great scavenger, but i wouldnt exaglty call him peacefull

If you have algae, otto cats are a nice addition. But if there is little algae you would have to feed them algae wafers. There are also quite a variety of corys . . . albinos, paleatus (tend to be small), etc. so you might take a look at other varieties.

dojo loaches are great...corys help alot and plecos help too...DOJO LOACHES ARE GREAT- REMEMBER THAT. ottos are good if you have algae and umm...yes many types of catfish help alot

Plecos work well but I'm biased cause I love'm, I like shrimp cause they look nice, never had a Dojo before.
