after putting the eggcrate do you guys put your pc's right on top of the eggcrate or still use the legs???? because it seems like so much more light gets into the tank when i put the lights right ontop of the eggcrate but the water slashes up on to the light
You can add a small wooden block to get the light a little higher. You will be able to get it wher the water dosent splash in it and still get a lot of light in the tank.
I would think that the heat from the lights might melt the eggcrate? I still use the legs and plenty of light gets through, after all these are used as covers for lights, right?
