was just wondering if in sump skimmers are better than HOB skimmers. why im asking is because i came across what seems to be a good deal with a coralife superskimmer for $60 or would my aqua C remora HOB do just as good?
I run a HOB bakpak 2 skimmer and I'm very please with it. I have heard good things about the remora too. I always thought in sump models performed better though.
The remora hob is probably one of the best hob skimmers out there. I am sure there are more efficient in sump skimmers but for the price you probably have one of the best. I am not sure I would trade it for a coralife in sump....
yea after alot of research i decided not to... but now i found a 50g acrylic tank with stand for $100 (on craigslist of course) so that would be a nice upgrade from my 29g
