Can anyone enlighten me to the fact why 2 outta 5 of my rasbora died? The signs that something was wrong was when the 2 rasbora black triangle panel at the tail end of the fish started fading, then they started loosing weight and died. yet the other three did not show signs of this illness.

I've recently relocated a piece of driftwood to improve the current in the tank.. which has noticably improved the Tetra and Rasbora swimming schedule.. stops them sitting down and watching tv all day, so its gotta be good for them.

It sounds like it could have been some kind of internal parasite. Fading colors on fish is a sign of either stress or sickness, and you should try to work out what the problem is when you see it.

You might want to feed your fish some garlic-soaked food (use crushed garlic) or some medicated food to make sure everyone else in the tank is clear.
