Hey guys, this is another of my journals that some people might be interested in, The tank will be a mini reef, and of coarse the main stare of the tank will my mantis shrimp. Ill get some pictures up soon.

i replaced the 6 gallon eclipse with the cube, still same number of tanks. he seems to like the cube alot better, i also have more room on my desk now. i was thinking about doing a snall refugium out of a hang on back filter. what would be good for a tank that is 10" by 10"

Picture Time!!! finally got some not so blurry pictures of the tank and lives stock. I want this tank to be realy successful so post as many comments as you can, post tons of suggestions for the tank. Ok, here are the pictures!

Ahh so we see the infamous mantis lair and the culprit himself. Neat.

hey ram how big is the mantis now?

he is about 2.5 inches long, will maybe grow another inch.

did you ever find a cheap alternative of food for him?

ythe cheapest is hermit crabs, 80 cents per hermits, if they dont smash stuff then they lose their smashing appendages.

Looks nice Ram! one thing tho..have you considered getting an external pump and some tubing to replace the power head.

I mean your tank looks great, but that massive power head takes away from the over all look of the tank.

nasty or not I think that they would be an interesting add to a tank.

thats the clearest pic i can get, my digi sucks big time. gonna get a new one soon though.

ive been hit by my little guy, just cut the skin and i had a bone bruise.

try to aim for one with a macro. You will be able to get through the glass.

as long as i dont get my hands to close to his burrow he just hangs out and watches me move corals to were i like them, he is pretty laid back. they do make great pets, alot cooler than a "Nemo" and also alot smarter, my litle guy knows who i am and knows that i give him food.
