Ram Temperment

Just to be on the safe side....i understand that Ram Cichlids are peaceful and need pristine water conditions to be healthy (which i can provide) but i wanted to ask this before "throwing" one into my tank like an uneducated bafoon; will Blue Ram Cichlids coexist with a male betta peacefully in a 55 gal. aquarium, or will the betta harass the Ram(s)? Thanks a lot guys, i appreciate the forthcoming knowledge.*thumbsups

Depends more on the betta than the Ram. The rams could care less about anything other than other rams, unless they are spawning. Then they will defend the brood unmercifully.

If the betta allows other fish in a big ol tank like that then he prob will not have a problem with a ram.
