Two days ago this happened to my female betta:
She ate one of the bits of pea this morning. BUT… this afternoon Juju chased her around for about five seconds. In this period of time she emitted eggs at least four times without him even touching her. Each time there were about 10 eggs. What is going on???

) Anyway, she was releasing eggs while she was swimming away from the male. That's never happened before. Plus, there was no bubble nest. So, no, I don't have fry. It was just weird what she was doing.
