re : new world cichlids

Pls name me some NWC....Not the scientific name, the generic name, the name.... It would make it easier for me to find them at the petshop.

Can NWC be mixed w/ tropicals. I am quite new to tropicals and miss the 120 gal convict tank i left in the Philippines. I now have a 10gal coz i move around alot and i have no plans of getting anything bigger at the moment. Maybe, just maybe a 20gal but not soon. Maybe for my bday. Where can i find a 20gal acrylic tank? What are dwarf cichlids?

Most NWC besides the dwarfs and the convicts get too large for a 10. Dwarfs would be cichlids like the german blue rams, Bolivian Rams, and any of the many species of apistos. Google search any of those names and you will come up with tons of info. If you want to keep convicts, you can keep 1 male or 1 pair male/female in a 10. But not much else will live in there with just 1 let alone a pair. They will surly kill any other fish you put in there. The others are pretty calm even when breeding.
