Well, I've got Sam the male in a heated 5.5 gallon, ready for Lindsey. He has made one heck of a bubble nest in the corner. She is secluded in a clear gladware, so that they can see eachother and she is at the same temperature, but they can't play actually get at eachother.
How do you know if they are receptive to eachother? I would think that he is receptive, he made a major bubble nest in about 2 hours... But what about her? I've read that she should follow him around a little, and that they should pay attention to eachother but not look like they are trying to kill eachother through the plastic.
Are there any other signs that I need to see before I can put them in together?
