Have you installed fans in your canopy yet?  That helps out a lot.

I run 4 fans with 3 250W MHs with VHO's which totals over 1000Ws of light/heat yet my tank is always under 80.

Do the fan thing. I almost bought a small chiller for my 40 gallon. But I couldn't bring myself to spend the 400.00 bucks. So I bought a small 6 1/2" clip on fan and took off the safety grate attached it to my wall behind the tank. Then I hooked it up to the lights timmer and the high temp problem was solved.
You can find these fans at Wal-Mart, Longs or hardwear stores..

Looks like your shop dealer wants to sell you a chiller but how hot is it in your room?  Put four fans if you don't want to pay for electricity cost and a $900 chiller.

29-30 F is too hot though.

If you keep the room air conditioned to 75-80 degrees then you should have a problem.  Make the canopy an open back canopy.

Should look into the aqualogic or aquanetic chillers.  Going to run you about $1000.

If you have more heating problems, post your question at www.reefcentral.com
There are some chiller experts there.

What is this blue light?

A normal fluorescent bulb or a power compact or a Metal Halide.

Do you have a cover on the tank?  If  you do, then remove it.

i think it is the most i can do abt the heat unless i get a

It's definitely the canopy cover.  What's the use of a fan when there is a cover?  Those covers are heat traps.  It's like wearing a fur parka in the sweltering summer and having a small fan blow at you.

You have 20Ws and you have heat issues?

I have 1200 Ws of light on my tank and no heat issues.

Hey I live in California, it's hot here too right now.  In the 90's but that's what air condition is for.

BTW, it's 1200Watts not 120watts.

You will be killing yourself after the price of the chiller and the electricity bill of the chiller.
