recycling and old Ikea bed to a stand

Well, i was unhappy with my metal stand, all the wires+sump+skimmer visible..so i cutted my old bed to create a wood stand. I had to cover it with black because there were a lot of different wood involved. So, with a little help from a saw and drill, i have this :

the doors aren't hooked on/leveled for now, and i have some touch ups to do, but it's better than it was :

..i'm proud 'cause i only used old, useless material

Looks good. So did you basically put a wooden cover on the metal stand?

yep the wood covers 3 sides, but it holds, it's strong...i can easily remove it if i need to change the sump etc.
