I have 3 established aquariums, a 3gal with some ghost shrimp, a 10 gal with a few minnows, and a 55 gal with various tetras.
Today I acquired a red cherry shrimp and 2 babies (I think they're RCS, but I'm not sure). Can I put the adult in the 3 gal and the babies in there inside a breeder net?

I've heard ghosties are vicious, but will they attach the new RCS?

EDIT: They're fed regularly, so they are not hungry...

Generally speaking, Ghost Shrimp would probably attack the baby shrimp and even the adult RCS. I've had luck keeping a high protein diet for my shrimp (red-nose, RCS, Amano, GS, bamboo, CRS, etc.) without having them attack one another. If anything it is something to take at your own risk, but I would have to say yes it is highly likely that the Ghost Shrimp would attack the RCS.

Darklies! I haven't seen you in *ages*!

I agree with what riseabove says. The ghosts are pretty likely to attack the cherry shrimp but it probably can be done. Perhaps if you had a well planted aquarium and a good breeding population of cherries it might work :)
