im trying to figure out what this growth is on my protien skimmer,,, its been there about 3 month and looks like a cluster of pin head sized red egg sacks?

its red bubble algae I believe, egg sacks are out of the question if they have been there for 3 months, the gestation(sp?) period of most marine inhabitants especially those that are in your tank is much shorter than 3 months.
