red streaks in fins

I just had a foot long goldfish given to me from a friend. When i was looking him over, he has bright red streaks in his dorsal fin and other fins. He was in with a another large goldfish in a 55 gal. Ive read about this before, but cant remeber what caused it or how to treat it. Opinion would be appriciated. Thank you.

I agree with the above. Kanamyacin works well on this in goldfish. So does keeping the tank extreamly clean, lots of water changes.
